Introduction by the Artisan:

"Howdy, I'm Ritu Thapar. I founded Bona Dea because of my passion for handcrafted goods, which has led me down this creative entrepreneurial journey. Ever since I was a young child, I've had a deep love for jewelry. However, there were no schools or universities where I could formally study this craft. Like many kids, I completed my education and entered the workforce. After working for nearly 15 years, I faced a decision: return to my job or pursue my own creative endeavors. It was during this contemplation that I stumbled upon some stunning handcrafted earrings at a nearby market. I was completely captivated by their beauty.

Fate intervened, granting me the opportunity to study under Mrs. Meenakshi Prasad highly skilled art educator who mentored me for six months, helping me unravel the complexities of the art of jewelry creation. I specialize in fashion, terracotta, and silver jewelry.

That's when I set out on my entrepreneurial path, creating handmade jewelry. As part of their on-the-job training, I've imparted this craft to numerous artisans. I oversee everything from conceptualization, sourcing raw materials, and design development to creating samples and handling the entire range of marketing activities.

At my company, we provide a platform for my team of artisans to showcase their unique talents, and they are the ones who empower and inspire me"
