The crescent shape of Mask Alicia has been covered with gold-toned Japanese brocade, festooned with garlands of AB rhinestones and finished with a scattering of deeply coloured AB rhinestones and yellow Swarovski elements. Pearl beading interspersed with gold half beads are set along the upper edging and AB rhinestones replace the pearls along the bottom. Hand-glittered gold leaves, pearl beading and gold-coloured crystals surround the eye and a matte-finished star sits atop the peak.

Heavily embellished gold braid has been set along the top edge of the “Colombina” half of this mask and has been carefully sited to indicate flowing from the centrally placed reconstructed jewel. A complementary scalloped gold braiding embossed with pearl beading and AB rhinestones runs along the bottom edge. Deconstructed gold-toned embroidery is featured on the surface of the jersey and has also been incorporated into the detailing on the mask’s reverse side.
