Constructed from stiffened art paper and wired for additional stability and pliability this masque has been covered in a beautiful floral silk brocade with the reverse side applied to the back-facing peaks. Silver rhinestones and embellished Indian gold braid edge the peaks with miniature green rhinestones around the eyes. Gold heraldic braid on the back peaks and above the eyes provides an additional visual interest fragments of deconstructed vintage jewellery providing a subtle but noticeable central feature.
