With its base covered with a lovely white-on-white arboreal-patterned brocade ‘Scintillare’ has an overlay created from a beautiful panel of silver threaded appliqué which always deconstructed to provide the shapes required for the unusual stand-up centrepiece and swathe-like top edging.
 
Wired, lacquered and padded to provide stability whilst being worn, the appliqué has been very heavily embossed with deconstructed jewellery, silver rhinestones, large Swarovski elements, tiny mirror tiles and a sparse placement of half-pearl beading. Silver vintage filigree lace has been placed above the rhinestone edged eyes.
 
Silver and Indian mirror braid has been attached along the lower edge with Swarovski elements adds an additional sparkle and a large teardrop rhinestone is centrally situated to provide further visual interest.
 
This is a masque that would be the perfect accoutrement for the bride seeking a unique “edge” for her big day. Designed to catch and reflect light with every movement
