“Tania” features a kokoshnik-style headpiece covered with a pale gold jersey, overlays of heavily hand-embellished lace and an edging of white-gold braiding, transparent iridescent beads, and pearl bead fringing.
 
Constructed from art card and spackle  and set within a strengthened wire framing, careful attention has been given to the overall piece to ensure minimal movement occurring when worn. 
 
Strands of pearls, iridescent and Biwa beading have been liberally draped, placed and entwined around the face and headdress, and deconstructed vintage jewellery has been centrally set to enhance the rigidity of the kokoshnik. Sprays of hand gilded floral accents around the lower half of the face provide a visual balance. 
 
A heavy hand embellishment iridescent milky rhinestones and half pearl beading adorns the upper facial portion of this mask, and a scattering has also been applied to the kokoshnik. These rhinestones are almost unnoticeable until placed under light whereupon they flash with a sharp rainbow-like brilliance that both delights and surprises every eye. 
 
“Tania” is a one-off, exclusively catalogued creation that comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
