“Thisbe” was inspired by the distinctively stylised blue/gold/pink Japanese brocade used to cover its various surfaces.

Three demi uchiwas created from dense art card and wire covered with the brocade and gold braid highlights are placed for maximum impact with a spray of gilt flowers nestled behind the middle one. All areas of the fabric have blitzed with shot-blue/mauve rhinestones and half pearl beading, silver Swarovski elements and deconstructed vintage amber glass jewellery provide additional eye-catching highlights.

The addition of gold net and AB rhinestones around and over the eyes and forehead, a cascade of vintage beading and a brocade covered neck piece edged with tiny fringing provide lovely finishing touches.

“Thisbe" is a one-off unique creation and comes with certification of artistic and creative authenticity.
