“Covered with a magnificent deconstructed embroidered Japanese Obi (sash) which has been partly overlaid with gold net and edged with beautiful gold braiding, “Vaslav” conjures up visions of the stunningly decadent Leon Bakst costume designs worn by Nijinsky of the Diaghilev Ballet Company.
Heavily hand-blitzed with pearl and gold half beads, rhinestones, Swarovski elements and crystals, this masque features a centrepiece fashioned from a beautiful red stone deconstructed vintage brooch above which glitters a chain of glass ‘crystals’.
 
“Vaslav” is a one-off creation and has been signed, dated and catalogued for artistic security and preservation of authenticity.
